MOTON DRY LUBE 700 is an airdrying active polymerizing TEFLON© based anti friction coating. Application of MOTON DL 700 presents an:

• oil-free ultra slippery lubricating film 
• protecting film wich reduces wear and stick-slip 
• anti-adhesion flim

Oil-free lubricant

Moton DL 700 ensures a oil-free ultra slippery lubricating film between the contacting metals. As a result stick-slip, fretting and wearing are being prevented. Furthermore in case of abrasive situations this product protects against corossion and wearing.

Protecting film

Moton DL 700 is an excellent protecting lubricant against corossion and all sorts of external influences. After having dried sufficiently the product gives sufficient protection and lubrication. In order to get a sufficient protection and lubrication in those circumstances where there is contact with oil, grease, solvents etc. DL 700 must be dried at a temperature of 150̊C during 1 hour. A layerthickness of 60 - 80 microns is needed.

Anti adhesion film

MOTON DL 700 is an excellent anti adhesive product and therefore applicable as a coating of all sorts of machines and transport parts which are exposed to abrasive circumstances. For example: transport parts for grain, powders etc. But also pressure die-casting and vulcanising moulds. Best results are obtained with a layerthickness of 15 micron which is burned in at 260̊C during 20-30 minutes. A continuous load of 230̊C. is possible.

Application area

Lubrication and protection of all kinds of surfaces and machine parts, which can not be lubricated with oil, while a low friction coefficient is required.

For example:

• Machines in the electro and textile industry, packaging industry 
• Metalworking industry. After a treatment of saws, taps, drills, etc. the life of these tools will be extended significantly. A proper treatment of forged pieces will extend their life as well. 
• Hydraulics. All kinds of sliding parts like hydraulic cilinders, valves, etc. 
• Paper industry. Dry lubrication of chaines, slidings, knifes. 
• Food market. Dried product is not toxic and lubricates without adhering of dust and dirt

Application

How to applicate DL 700 depends on how secure the product is being processed. The following general guidelines can be used:

Surface: 

• steel, stainless steel; very well suitable 
• white metal, zinc, brass; suitable 
• copper; not suitable

Thickness of layer:

• 15-80 µ if the product should function as lubricant as well as protection. 
• Approx. 15µ if the product is being used as anti adhesive.

Degrease and dry the object before applying the coating. Apply through spraying or dipping, preferably in a thin layer of approx. 15 microns. Warning: stir regularly when processing larger amounts. Combustable product!

Do not dilute the product!

Application only in good ventilated area's at a temperature of at least 15°C. For optimal result dry at 150̊C for 60 minutes in an oven or by using infra-red heating. Moton Dry Lube 700 resists a constant termal load of 230̊C. When DL 700 is being used as an anti-adhesive it is recommandable to heat up the surface as high as possible. Optimal results will be reached at 260̊C during 30 minutes.
